What inspires you?

When a child laughs, it’s beautiful.

When the 90-year-old man at the table next to mine grins, it’s wonderful.

When my parents dance together, it’s magical.

And all those inspire me.

When my sister wins, it’s exciting.

When my cousin bakes, it’s delicious.

When my aunt pulls a face, it’s hilarious.

And all those inspire me.

When a group of five boys make millions happy, it’s heartwarming.

When Michelle fights for education, it’s freeing.

When a young girl from Pakistan becomes the voice of a generation, it’s exhilarating.

And all those inspire me.

And I want to learn from them.

I want to laugh and grin and dance and win; bake, pull a face, and make people happy; fight, stand up for what’s right, and be inspirational to the world, in the way that the world is an inspiration to me.

And with my pen and paper, I start now.

So, what inspires you?

  1. This was on ‘What Inspires You?’:
The truth is,we tend to want to be around things that inspire us.And that changes over time. When smart people succeed you,you want to hang around them. When gangleaders become druglords, some people want to be a part of their gang. When Bernie Sanders led a political revolution, many americans wanted to fight for his ideas. What inspires us is shaped by what we have paid attention to in our surroundings over time.We technically are all born the same in some sense, but everyone has been made to see or paid attention to different people, objects and ideas that have shaped who they are.
